Peter P. Rullan, MD has practiced dermatology in Chula Vista since 1983, holding triple board certification through the American Board of Dermatology, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. His Mohs micrographic surgery caseload for basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma generates post-excision reconstructive referrals into the cosmetic surgery network that includes Eastlake Cosmetic Surgery for complex flap and graft closures. A University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine graduate (1979) with an internal medicine internship and dermatology residency completed at UC Irvine, he also serves as volunteer clinical faculty at UC San Diego School of Medicine's dermatology department. Periocular dermatologic cases requiring coordinated eyelid-margin assessment are co-treated with ophthalmic specialists at Villa Optometry to manage lesion excision near the visual axis. The practice's highest-complexity procedures include deep trichloroacetic acid chemical peels for severe acne scarring, tumescent liposuction with autologous fat transfer, and sclerotherapy for varicose and spider vein ablation.
