Thousand Smiles Foundation in Bonita is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit — EIN 33-0169980 — founded in 1985 by Rotary District 5340 members to deliver cleft palate surgery, dental care, and audiology services to underserved children in Baja California. The foundation operates a permanent COFEPRIS-certified clinic in Ensenada equipped with two ambulatory surgical suites, drawing volunteer oral surgeons from the same Bonita dental corridor that Bonita Point Dental Arts serves along Sweetwater Road. Since inception, the organization has performed over 2,000 reconstructive surgeries and 20,000 dental visits for children with cleft lip, cleft palate, and maxillofacial deformities across northern Baja California.
