H.O.P.E. Resources in Chula Vista is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated in December 2025 that provides faith-based mentoring and intervention programming for at-risk youth across San Diego County. The Camino Vista Real office coordinates one-on-one mentoring sessions designed to divert minors from gang involvement and the juvenile-justice system, a prevention focus aligned with the athletic programming at Chula Vista Police Activities League. Mentors come from backgrounds that mirror the populations they serve, using lived-experience credibility to build trust with youth who lack stable adult connections. The organization also operates a thrift-shop component that funds programming costs while teaching inventory and retail skills to teen participants, several of whom transition into after-school enrichment tracks at Bonita Vista High School.
