Deseo Studios in Chula Vista's Otay Ranch area is a veteran-owned, women-owned, and Latino-owned dance studio and event venue on Birch Road near Otay Ranch Town Center, specializing in salsa and bachata instruction for adults and youth. The studio traces to a six-person dance company founded in 2008 and reformed as Deseo Studios, LLC in 2017, when the current Birch Road location became the business's first permanent home — an Eastlake-area dance and events corridor that also includes The Venue at Eastlake for larger productions. Bilingual instructors lead group and private sessions spanning Latin social dance, competitive choreography, wedding-dance preparation, fitness boot camps, and personal training, all on a multi-room floor plan that accommodates simultaneous classes.
