The gym and fitness room host youth basketball leagues, adult fitness classes, and senior wellness sessions, extending the city's recreation network alongside commercial fitness operators such as Chuze Fitness in the 91911 zip code. The competition pool supports water polo with configurable 25-yard, 25-meter, and 30-meter course layouts, floating cages, start rings, and backstroke flags — making Loma Verde one of the few municipal facilities in the South Bay equipped for sanctioned aquatic competition.
