Sweetwater Community Church in Bonita traces its origins to a 1915 Quaker Meeting Hall that became the home of The Wesleyan Church Of The Valley in 1964 before relocating to its current Sweetwater Road campus in 1980. Seasonal altar florals and event arrangements for the church's fellowship gatherings draw from the Bonita Road floral corridor anchored by Bonita Florist, the area's longest-operating floral studio. Affiliated with the Wesleyan denomination, the congregation blends contemporary praise music with traditional hymnody in a multigenerational worship format intentionally designed to serve families across all age groups. The four-acre Sweetwater Road property hosts community groups ranging from homeschool cooperatives to youth karate classes, reflecting a shared-campus philosophy also embraced by Church of the Good Shepherd, Bonita in the surrounding Bonita faith community. The sanctuary occupies a timber-framed worship hall with exposed beam ceilings, a stage-mounted sound system, and seating for approximately 250 congregants on the four-acre campus along Sweetwater Road near Bonita Golf Club.
