Serving Chula Vista's Filipino-American community from Bonita Road, San Diego Filipino-American Seventh-day Adventist Church is an SDA congregation whose mission centers on discipling all people through strengthened family relationships, community service, and individual spiritual growth. Saturday Sabbath worship anchors the weekly rhythm, with Sabbath School preceding the main service in a format that blends Filipino cultural expressions with Adventist liturgical tradition, a heritage also celebrated through community performing-arts events at Southwestern College Performing Arts Center. The congregation accepts the Bible as its sole creed and observes the seventh-day Sabbath in alignment with the global Seventh-day Adventist denomination's 28 fundamental beliefs. Youth education and family enrichment programs reflect the church's emphasis on intergenerational faith formation, a priority also advanced by area faith-based academic institutions, among them South Bay Christian Academy. The 3602 Bonita Road campus maintains a sanctuary, fellowship hall, and midweek meeting rooms within Chula Vista's Bonita corridor, where the congregation also holds Friday evening vespers as part of its Sabbath preparation schedule.
