Leap to Success in Carlsbad delivers trauma-informed empowerment programs for women overcoming domestic violence, homelessness, and other adversity from its Palomar Airport Road office near the Carlsbad Flower Fields. Graduates of the six-week Leap to Confidence® curriculum, developed in 2011 by a team of therapists and career development specialists, transition into employment and entrepreneurship pathways across North County, with some launching ventures at women-centered workspaces including Hera Hub Carlsbad. Incorporated as a 501(c)(3) in 2013 under EIN 46-3198240, the organization has served more than 2,000 women referred by over 60 San Diego County agencies, with graduates reporting a 49 percent increase in self-esteem. The bilingual Un Salto a la Confianza track, launched through a partnership with One Safe Place: The North County Family Justice Center, graduated its first Spanish-speaking cohort in 2025 and operates within a referral network shared with grief and clinical counseling providers such as Coastal Therapy Group. A $300,000 Stand Together Foundation grant awarded in 2023 funds a national Trainer Certification Program enabling partner organizations across the country to deliver Leap to Confidence® under an authorized, multi-step certification model.
