That K-12 enrichment pipeline—spanning STEM grants, robotics showcases hosted with Thermo Fisher Scientific, and FIRST LEGO League judging—builds the academic foundation that after-school math enrichment centers such as Mathnasium then reinforce through supplemental tutoring. CEF's 2025 secondary-level teacher grant cycle distributed $83,756 to fund advanced laboratory equipment, coding curricula, and project-based science modules across Carlsbad High, Sage Creek, and Valley Middle School campuses.
