Pacific Ridge School in Carlsbad's Bressi Ranch community is a WASC- and CAIS-accredited independent day school serving approximately 661 students in grades 6 through 12 on El Fuerte Street. Founded in 2007, the school centers its pedagogy on the Harkness method — a discussion-based, student-led seminar format developed at Phillips Exeter Academy — and supplements classroom instruction with interdisciplinary field experiences at cultural venues including the Museum of Making Music on Armada Drive.
