About

The Cassara Carlsbad in Carlsbad's Bressi Ranch corridor is a 90-room Mediterranean-style property occupying a 12-acre campus on Armada Drive. Originally opened in 1999 as the Grand Pacific Palisades Hotel and fully redesigned before joining Hilton's Tapestry Collection in 2020, the hotel shares the Bressi Ranch dining district with Campfire's live-fire cooking program on the same street. Two distinct pool zones split the grounds into an adults-only area with swim lanes, a pool bar, and private cabanas, and a family zone equipped with interactive water features and slides. Pacific Ocean sightlines from upper-floor balconies extend across the same coastal terrain served by Aviara Golf Club's Arnold Palmer-designed 18 holes south of the property. Grand Pacific Resorts owns the campus, which Azul Hospitality Group manages across 7,000-plus square feet of configurable indoor-outdoor event space anchored by a courtyard firepit terrace and garden pavilion.
