The 1900 Aston Avenue facility houses a Simulated Patient Training Laboratory where clinicians practice full-arch implant placement, guided surgery protocols, and bone-grafting techniques alongside fellow Carlsbad-based implant developer Zest Dental Solutions. ZimVie's product portfolio spans the TSX tapered implant system, Puros demineralized bone-matrix allografts, and RealGUIDE digital surgical-planning software used by oral surgeons and periodontists across more than seventy countries. Hands-on continuing-education courses at the institute cover immediate-molar protocols, prosthetic-driven implant sequencing, and CAD/CAM abutment design, drawing practitioners from the same Aston Avenue corridor occupied by Henry Schein Orthodontics. The SimLab stations replicate full-arch cases on anatomically accurate mandibular and maxillary models, allowing guided osteotomy drilling with torque-controlled handpieces calibrated to 35 Ncm insertion thresholds.
