Founded in 2000, Temple Etz Rimon in Carlsbad is a Reform Jewish congregation affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism, drawing approximately 55 member families from across North County San Diego. The congregation shares its 2020 Chestnut Avenue sanctuary with Pilgrim United Church of Christ, and the two communities co-sponsor the San Diego Interfaith Homeless Shelter Project alongside joint fundraising for shared facility upgrades. Shabbat services, High Holiday observances, and lifecycle ceremonies anchor the liturgical calendar, while adult Havurot small-group programs and interfaith social-action initiatives run throughout the year.
