Aloha Ice Co in Carlsbad Village serves Hawaiian-style shave ice layered over macadamia nut ice cream with condensed milk on Carlsbad Village Drive. The island menu extends into poke bowls with sushi-grade ahi and spam musubi, placing it alongside the robata and sushi program at Blue Ocean Robata & Sushi Bar as one of the Village's few Pacific Rim street-food purveyors. Founded in 2022 after a 2021 food truck launch, the storefront also operates a mobile catering unit for private events across North County and brews 100% Kona and 100% Maui roast-to-order single-origin coffee. All shave ice syrups are vegan and gluten-free, and the separate coffee counter adds a Hawaiian roast profile to Carlsbad Village's specialty-roaster corridor that already includes Vinaka Cafe.
